(B. A, B.A. ED, MSc) - Educational Leadership- Educational leadership begins with the teacher. An educator is responsible for ensuring overall well-being within the learning environment. Well-being can range from social interaction among students to managing behavioral expectations, observing learning styles, managing data-driven assessments, and communicating with parents and stakeholders.
- The list goes on and on; while it may seem like a lot of to-dos, the checklist becomes achievable when all parties stay aligned on the same values and goals. Educational leaders influence the way students learn by nurturing their baby steps and cheering every bit of progress made, all the way to the standing-ovation stage, which I call mastery. Seeing students reach those huge milestones, from baby steps to mastery, in both academic and social behaviors comes with a great sense of satisfaction.
- Iron sharpens iron when there is alignment, empathy, vision, and the inspiration of everyone’s potential. Students emerge strong as great leaders of the future.
